the skinny on Skinnies

I found a thread in Vogue.com.au discussing JEGGINGS . Jeggings or Jeans+Leggings will now be available in the Philippines. Jag Jeans, USA, introd this new item last friday in Fashion Week. Being its stylist and all, I got a to try on the prototype. I find the material to thick for leggings so its definitey considered as jeans and its so tight its hard to bend your legs in but I think the washes will soon soften them up when its available in the market. Jag is making it in Black, White, Silver (its more like dark gray with shine laminated over it) and of course, as I requested, in acid-wash. Their acid-wash, however, is not the 80's acid wash i've been expecting. I wanted it to be that way, though, but I'm not sure if they are pushing through with it or keep it market-friendly by washing it lighter than expected. Unlike skinny jeans, Jeggings has zippers on its hem so you can zip it open to get your foot in and keep the slim silhouette by zipping them back.

Jag Jeans in the Philippines is the same company that manufactures the local Lee jeans. The rights and technology are the same, only the brandname differs.
