SURPRISINGLY DSQUARED2

The thing about DSQUARED2 is that when they create a collection, they do it all the way! When they create a theme, it resonates solidly from fabric treatment, to silhouettes, to styling and even extends to the runway and print ads. They explore every possible way to translate every literal references into one wearable piece that sometimes it looks costumey and at times it borders to kitsch. Sometimes it goes to the extreme that you can not just say no to it. That thing, which high-end fashionistas frown upon, is probably the brand's weakness which at this point became it's strength. Riding with the fetishist trend of the season, Dsquared2 went full on creating object d'art from spine heeled footwear to red latex gloves and leggings to feathered dresses. My god, it's red or dead!
