It's a good day today to announce the triumph of another avant-gardian.
Dubai-based Filipino avant-gardian Ignacio Loyola has won another trophy to add on his growing collection of trophies, and this time from Burjuman's Runway Art Fashion Competition! The competition recognizes eccentric designs at Dubai's avant-garde fashion showcase.
"Ignacio's designs are influenced by his culture and the many interesting places to be visited.His entry is the reflection of the contrast between his cultural heritage and the modern as represented by synthetics. His design combines paper and fibers native to his country with woven rubberbands to create a look that is poetic and progressive."
Prior to going overseas, Loyola has already won several international fashion competitions, one of which is the prestigious Le Conquer Internacional De Jeune De Mode in Paris.
